What if it could also update tags and file names for you, and then relocate the files to an appropriate location in your music collection? Introducing MusicBrainz Picard
The answer is metadata management-the ability to add, edit, change, and delete the metadata stored with audio files. You could try listening to every mislabeled track, figure out exactly what obscure remix it is, look up the official track listing, and then use a tag-editing app to update each file. If you’re as geeky about music as I am, you’ll find unlabeled or mislabeled tracks really aggravating. See Auto-Tag from Web.Mislabeled tracks can be a pain to manage. The simplest means of finding and adding Album Art is by selecting a set of tracks from an Album and right-clicking Auto-Tag from Amazon. The changes to the tracks will be made only after clicking 'Ok'. All images that are common to the track(s) will appear simply click Add or Remove to change the images associated with the track, and optionally choose whether to apply the displayed Album Art to all other Tracks on the Album, or other selected Tracks. To edit multiple Album Art images, click Edit > Properties, and select the Album Art tab in the Properties Dialog. This will bring you to the Properties Dialog (see below).
